On Tuesday this week in a special assembly we celebrated the formation of the new Student Leadership team at Bushey Meads School for the new academic year. We are very proud to have nearly 200 students across years 7 to 13 making up the wider leadership body, consisting of subject leaders, Student Parliament Representatives and leaders for a diverse range of other aspects of school life, including community, e-learning and eco leaders.
We are also proud this year to have added Front of House Leaders and Bushey Meads Reporters to our growing range of responsibilities available for students.
The assembly itself was led mainly by the Senior Student Leadership Team, who will have responsibility for different groups of leaders. They shared with the group some stories of different leaders who inspired them and presented each leader with their badge.
I wish out new Student Leaders every success in their role for the forthcoming year.
