Miss Coombs, our SRP Coordinator, led our Friday Faculty Focus at the end of last week to highlight DLD day which is set aside to highlight development delay disorder – a challenge that 1 in 14 people have to experience and overcome.
She provided some key reminders and some great strategies to use in classrooms across the school and even set  some brain teasers for us to attempt and experience the pressure that learners with DLD might experience.
It was a great presentation and another helpful training and support soundbite for all of us looking to further improve our effectiveness in the classroom.
