It is always superb to hear about the ongoing success of some of our ex-students as they continue to Aspire to Achieve beyond BMS. Last week I heard from the parents of Christina De Venny who left Bushey Meads nearly 5 years ago and went off to study Occupational Therapy at Plymouth University. As shown in the photo, 18 months ago she graduated with a First Class Honours degree.
Her parents attribute her success to the school’s input into her secondary education. They recognise that she had some fantastic, inspiring teachers (studying Design and Technology to AS Level and Art, Psychology and Biology to A-Level) during her sixth form years. They particularly mentioned Mrs Hoskins, Miss Pattni and Mr Chalkley and the great teaching and advice they provided.
