All about the Heart

Mrs Ram’s year 9 class, took part in their first heart dissection. They were a little apprehensive, but found it to be an enriching experience. Each group used surgical tools and skill to cut the heart open and examine it carefully.
They were really excellent at disposing of the cut heart and cleaning up too. This practical forms part of the learning taking place in Topic 4 Biology, where students are learning about the blood and heart. Well done to all the students!
