Staff at Bushey Meads have worked incredibly hard all term to provide a continuing outstanding educational experience to all students at the school. They really have gone the extra ‘extra mile’ in these unprecedented times – at times unfortunately receiving grossly unfair criticism from a very small minority of parents who have simply not appreciated the huge challenges and the unique context of our school.
It was amazing to therefore receive such a generous gift from a group of Year 7 Parents on the last day of the previous half term; staff really appreciated the kindness and everyone clapped for a long time in our Staff Briefing to show their feelings about the sentiment of parents expressed in this way before we broke up for a thoroughly deserved week off.
The attached letter of thanks perhaps unpicks our true and genuine feeling for this powerful act of kindness.
