High Engagement and Productivity
In Technology on Tuesday morning there was a hive of activity across many lessons with students enjoying putting their carefully crafted designs into action.
In one lesson students had been making real life circuit boards, mirroring the industry standard design for a bicycle light. The next task was to design and make the packaging or box for the light. The prototype was made out of cardboard and then replicated using 2D software and the state of the art printers and laser cutters to produce the real thing!
Across the classroom students were beavering away in pairs, on their own or with the superb help and support of the teacher. It was great to see the high engagement and enjoyment in real-life learning, undertaken in a very practical environment.
Well done Year 8s!
