Year 12 Students Sitting Through their First...

Last Friday, having welcomed our brand new external applicants to our school the previous day, it was lovely to see the whole Year 12 cohort in school in the Main Hall listening to their first formal assembly with Associate Leader and Head of Sixth Form Mr O’Kelly. Our Sixth Form is expanding, not just in terms of the number of students who are applying and staying on at Post 16 level, but also in terms of the breadth of curriculum subjects we can now offer at the school – all leading to hugely exciting futures in the workplace, on top apprenticeships, or at some of the world’s leading universities.

Students have high aspirations at BMS and are taught by highly skilled sixth form teachers (Teachers of the Sixth Form are highly skilled. Ofsted November 2019) so we do wish them well as they start the next phase of their exciting learning journey.
