Mentally Healthy Exam Preparation

On Friday 26th April, Mrs Ash, Head of Standards, Safeguarding and SEND led an assembly to our Y11 to help support them in the run up to their GCSE exams. With only a few weeks to go the students and starting to feel the pressure. The assembly focused on top tips on feeling prepared, strategies to use in exams to help clear and calm the mind and reassuring the students that we are always here to support them.

Some students will feel exam stress and anxiety more than others whether that is in end of topic exams, end of year exams or the GCSE and A- Level exams. There are lots of resources to support students and parents at this time.
I wish all of our students all the best in their upcoming exams. There is always someone around to listen from CDC’s and the pastoral team to SLT and peer Mental Health Champions.
