On Monday, some of our dance students were selected to participate in a workshop led by some of the industry professionals from Platinum Academy. The workshop gave the dancers an insight into what training as a professional dancer looks like.
The students were taught two dances, one by Erina Lewis and one by Philip Joel. Both of the dances challenged our students due to the high level and demand from the professionals. However, I am pleased and proud to say that our students did exceptionally well, not only with picking up the choreography but performing with confidence and sass!
What made me even prouder was the professionalism that all of our students showed. It was fantastic to see them carry themselves in such a professional manner and highlight our school ethos. The leaders of the workshop were extremely impressed by the talent, respectability, integrity and kindness of our students. It was a fantastic experience and a brilliant kick start to the week!
