Vertical Tutoring Programme

On Monday 13th May – Friday 24th May we will be holding our annual Vertical Tutoring Programme on the theme of ‘Promoting Positive Health and Wellbeing’

This is an exciting event  when all CDC groups will be reorganised across their Houses to create new cross-age CDC groups for the Vertical Tutoring Fortnight with each group made up of students from Years 7 – 12.
The goal of the Vertical Tutoring programme is to encourage students from the same House, yet different year groups to co-operate and collaborate with each other, share their learning experiences, and meet other students across their House.
Some students will be exceptionally nervous regarding this but staff and students will be there to encourage each other to get involved in all activities that will be provided throughout the two weeks in their designated rooms and encourage them and be as supportive as possible.
There will also be a House Quiz- involving staff and students scheduled to take place on Thursday 23rd May from 2.00 pm and finishing at the latest by 4.00 pm- There are prizes to be won for the winning Team! More details to follow but we look forward to as many students and staff getting involved as possible!
