Dance Practical Assessments Complete!

It has been a hectic couple of months in the Dance Department preparing for the Year 11 GCSE and Year 13 A Level practical assessments.

Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd March the GCSE Dance students were assessed on their performance and choreography component. Last week we were delighted to welcome the A Level examiner into Bushey Meads to assess our Year 13s choreographies and performance component. She was incredibly kind and gave the students a pep talk that saw them pumped with energy.

Through the blood, sweat, tears and laughter the students have shown commitment, dedication and will power to create and perform to the best of their abilities and the Dance Department is very proud of all involved. Now the students have completed the practical side of their courses, the hard work doesn’t stop. Their theory paper is getting closer and closer at a rapid rate so all lessons are now dedicated to getting the final bits of preparation in ready to tackle the theory exam head on.
Well done Year 11 and Year 13!
