September 26th marks the European Day of Languages and it was superb to listen to our inspiring and talented Language Leaders at Bushey Meads take all our Main School Assemblies this week and promote such a fantastic love of language learning.
The students spoke so eloquently about the importance of learning another language and I’m sure many students will think very carefully when they are in Year 9 and 11 about those key transition moments when they have a choice about what subjects to study at Key Stage 4 and 5.
More and more students are studying languages at Bushey Meads and the results they are getting at GCSE and A level are some of the best in the school.
A huge thank you goes to all the students involved and of course to our outstanding Head of Faculty Mrs Charles and her talented team.
