Enrichment day 3 – 30th January
The school was buzzing with activity on Thursday last week for our 3rd Enrichment Day of the year.
Students got to take part in a variety of activities aimed to enhance their subject knowledge and  increase their cultural capital. It is also how we deliver our statutory PSHE and RE to some year groups,  It is essential that all students attend on these days.
Year 7 had a kindness themed day based around the book wonder with lots of fun team building activities and a big quiz.
Year 8 had a STEM immersion day, a hands-on day building bridges, making bionic hands and much more. A big thank you goes to Thames Water and Rendel engineers for coming in to deliver sessions to the students.
Year 9 had a PSHE day focused around keeping safe. Sessions included self esteem and confidence, communication, consent and financial choices.
Year 10 had an RE immersion day with lots of lively debates.
Year 11 got the opportunity for some intensive revision sessions in preparation for their upcoming PPES.
Year 12& 13 had talks in mental and sexual health before going off to the trampoline park to expend some energy and release some feel good endorphins.
All these fabulous sessions would not be possible without the planning and expertise from all our staff. A big thank you goes out to them for making it all possible.
