hosting a workshop for our sixth form students.
They informed students about the importance of financial literacy.
How important it is to understand how financial products like an overdraft work. The importance
of budgeting, the implications of getting yourself into debt and where to turn to for help.
Students delved into investment products like crypto currency, savings accounts and a stocks and
shares ISA. They touched upon having a growth mindset and why it is important as students to
adapt to this way of thinking.
HSBC informed our students of work experience and degree apprenticeship opportunities they
have and ended with a Q&A.
