Teaching and Learning Fair
At BMS we place great emphasis on sharing the very best practice that exists in our school. We are privileged to have some outstanding teachers in our midst and we want to learn from the very best of them to create an even more effective learning community here at Bushey Meads.
Lead Practitioner for Science Ms Atchuthan whetted our appetites last week in our Staff Briefing meeting in the Main Hall. She was talking about our upcoming INSET day taking place after the half term break. The day is starting with a Teaching and Learning Fair organised by Ms Atchuthan and the middle leaders across our school. There will be 10 stalls each promoting a number of engaging and activity learning gems that all staff can take away to use in their lessons.
Later in the day planning time will be provided to embed some of the new learning into lessons for the benefit of all the students in our care. It will be fun but, more importantly, it will be a great opportunity to share best practice and hone even further our pedagogy in the classroom.
