Raising Achievement evening
On Tuesday evening, Parents, Carers and Year 11 students gathered in the main hall for the annual raising achievement evening. With only 19 school days left until the first GCSE examination, the evening gave the final advice and tips for managing revision and stress over the exam period. The core subjects of English, maths and science also talked through the exam papers and the most useful revision strategies.
Mrs Greenwood, Assistant Headteacher, also gave advice on how parents and carers can help support the students through providing a quiet space for revision, helping test knowledge and the importance of a healthy diet, regular exercise and a good night’s sleep!
We wish all our students the best of luck as they approach the exam period.
