PSHE – Managing Money

As part of the PSHE curriculum the Year 7 students have been thinking about budgeting and finances. They considered what is an essential expenditure and what is a luxury. They also looked at what happens when our outgoings are more than our income.

It is important for children to have an understanding of money from an early age. With the increase in cashless systems money is becoming more and more mystical and abstract as a concept.
I have found the following websites useful when talking to students and my own children about money and finances.
