At BMS we take the Wellbeing of Staff very seriously. We all know that teaching is a very rewarding job but it can also be extremely challenging at times and anything we can all do to support our teachers, learning assistants and hardworking and dedicated associate staff is extremely important.
Many parents and carers fully understand the extreme recruitment crisis across the education sector that we have had to cope with post covid and have been extremely supportive in their understanding and appreciation of how hard we have worked to recruit staff in this challenging landscape.
Our staff wellbeing programme has always been strong, but has been strengthened further this year to demonstrate our appreciation of our dedicated and hardworking staff. Miss Roberts – Science Pathway Coordinator and Miss Coombs – BSJT Business Manager have helped to take the agenda to the next level and in our Friday Faculty Focus last week outlined to staff some of the fantastic benefits on offer.
As parents and carers you can take a look at the huge raft of benefits available as well as our important Staff Wellbeing Charter available via the links:
https://busheymeads.org.uk/staffwellbeing/
Do also remember to regularly thank any staff who have helped your children as often those little messages of thanks go a long way to support that positive atmosphere we need to recruit and retain high quality staff.
The power of positive words goes a long way!
