Do Now Activities in MFL

The start of the lesson is arguably the most important part of any lesson and last week in MFL students were clearly ‘hooked in’ right from the start with some carefully designed ‘Do Now’ starter activities.
Reinforcing prior learning and strengthening memory retrieval and vocabulary learning were really important aspects of the students’ learning being engaged in these important activities. It was powerful to see and made for a very purposeful start to the learning journey in these Key Stage 4 lessons.
I would like to thank the teachers for planning and facilitating such great learning environments and wish the students every success with their language learning at GCSE and beyond.
