It was a real privilege to welcome Councillor Caroline Clapper to our wonderful school on Thursday last week. Caroline has served as a County Councillor for Hertfordshire County Council since June 2009 and prior to that, she was a Borough Councillor for Totteridge Ward in the London Borough of Barnet. She is now the Hertsmere Borough Councillor for Aldenham West and the Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture & Health at Hertsmere Borough Council.

As the Executive Member, Education, Libraries & Lifelong Learning she showed a real interest in the work of staff and students at Bushey Meads and, in particular, enjoyed her tour of our new Specialist Resource Provision ‘The Laurel’, meeting staff and students in the newly refurbished development in A Block.
