Great Creativity!
In a recent Year 9 lesson it was powerful to see how creativity was being used to powerfully enhance a political message. Students were designing political posters in the style of the artist Shepard Fairey and were developing their skills involved in using carbon paper to draw and design their images. They were then tasked to then add colour and a catchy political slogan to engage the audience.
It was great to see how much creative thought was evident and being developed further in the class and how well this creativity was enhancing ‘art for a purpose’.
