The Design & Technology Monster...

Over the past few weeks, our students have been working on the D&T monster project. They were asked to challenge themselves by creating their very own monstrous characters using whatever materials or ingredients they had to hand!

Our students gathered lots of inspiration, producing mood boards, to reflect what kind of beastly creature they wanted to make. They then sketched some designs, before transforming their drawings into the dramatic 3D versions!

The D&T department are thrilled with the entries that have been sent in and have selected some winners for:

  • The MOST monstrous – Thomas Sookho 7W & Jack Loison 8 O

  • The MOST fantastic finishing – Tomas Davter 7E & Siyona & Shiven Hindocha 7&8E (Team effort)

  • The MOST creative character – Emily Williams 7W & Benigna Bernotaite 8B

Take a look below for the winning entries and some of the fantastic work produced by our students! Well done to all our students who took part and submitted their monsters! They look fantastic!
