This week the year 10 GCSE dancers faced the dragons when pitching their ideas for their choreographies. This was a really fun learning experience and opportunity for the students to give the class and I an insight into their creative minds.
As we approach their practical PPE for dance, it is imperative that the students keep on top of their choreography which contributes to 30% of their GCSE. Each student pitched their ideas with professionalism, detail and enthusiasm, which was very impressive. When not pitching, the students sat and listened as the ‘dragons’, making sure to ask some very difficult questions to put their peers under some friendly pressure.
I am looking forward to watching their choreographies come to life and see all of their hard work pay off over their 2 day assessment.
Well done dancers!
