Get Ahead Programme at BMS

Our first Friday Faculty Focus of the academic year was led by Assistant Headteacher Ms Knowles and focussed on the importance of the GAP (Get Ahead Programme) tasks that students will be handing in at the start of this new academic year to all their teachers. As parents and carers you will know that these GAP tasks were set for completion over the recent summer holiday and are another strategy that we use at the school to boost learning and achievement.

Independent learning is key to success and all students who have completed their GAP tasks will be rewarded with appropriate levels of reward points in recognition of their effort and achievement. Do remind your children to complete them and hand them in next week if they haven’t done so already.
