Leadership Development across the Bushey St...

One of the benefits of being part of a larger organisation than just stand alone school is the access to high quality leadership development opportunities that we have across and beyond the three schools in our Multi Academy Trust.

Earlier this week a group of senior leaders from across the Bushey St James MAT (from Hartsbourne and Little Reddings Primary Schools and Bushey Meads School) gathered at Little Reddings to take part in a leadership development session led by the Headteacher of Little Reddings Carly Simmonds. She herself has been privileged to have been part of an National Outstanding Headteacher Programme throughout 2017.18 and has been able to lead a number of these sessions to support and empower various key leaders working across the organisation.

It was great to listen to her, have a chance to discuss and reflect on our next steps and consider how we are all going to take our schools to the next level. One thing that impacted me during the session was just the real privilege it is to be able to work with such dynamic, positive and capable leaders within the three schools. We are all very lucky to have them in our organisation; here’s to an exciting future!
