This week saw the momentous occasion of World Challenge being launched with the Year 10, 11 and 12 students. Dominic from World Challenge launched the 2020 expedition with the students during assemblies. After an extremely successful 2018 expedition to Swaziland, Bushey Meads and World Challenge were excited to introduce the students to the 2020 expedition to Nepal!
Dominic went through the itinerary, which includes taking in the culture in Katmandu, community engagement phase, a stunning 5 day trek and some amazing cultural experiences and white water rafting during the rest and relaxation phase.
This once in a lifetime opportunity that will set students apart, empowering them to stand strong and share stories of their own adventure!
We will be holding a Parent and Carer information Evening on Thursday 7th February at 6:30 in the main hall. This will be an opportunity to get detailed information and ask any questions from Dominic about the expedition, find out ideas about how to raise the expedition fee in the build-up to departure, to the depth of safety and support.
Students will be given letters by their CDC’s inviting you to the evening.
I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!
