Cyber Security at BMS and across the BSJT
Just before the Easter holidays Mr Furr, the IT Manager across the Bushey St James Trust (BSJT), attended the termly Trust Board meeting chaired by Mr Russell, Chair of the Trust Board. He gave a very detailed and informative presentation about all the important measures in place across all three schools in the Multi Academy Trust that we are part of. These measures not only keep children safe but also maintain the integrity of the organisation.
There is so much in the media about online security, cyber attacks, phishing and malware issues and many organisations have unfortunately fallen foul of online hackers and scammers and other cyber criminals. The trustees asked lots of questions and were fully reassured by the IT Team and the Trust’s comprehensive approach to online security and were confident with the monitoring and filtering systems in place.
It was a very important meeting and I would like to thank Mr Furr and all the IT Team for their diligence and hard work in these somewhat challenging times.
