Sixth Form Students of the Week: Our Sixth...

The Sixth Form team would like to nominate every Year 12 and 13 Prefect and subject helpers who supported last night’s very successful Sixth Form Open Evening event. Each and everyone of our outstanding Sixth Form students was fantastic, helping out in the organisation, meeting parents working with staff to promote the Sixth Form. Some very hardy Year 12 students stayed outside in the cold helping with parking and directing parents and student around the site. Year 13 students were so professional in responding to new to school students and their parents, as well as our Bushey Meads families, before they went into the Hall for Mr O’Kelly’s highly informative talk on life in BMS Sixth Form and the huge range of opportunities we offer in the Sixth Form.

Many other Sixth Form students had volunteered to assist their subject teachers providing an honest insight into A Levels, BTEC and CTECs answering questions on our huge range of 26 courses for the prospective Sixth Formers. Our Sixth Formers created a fantastic impression, with many families commenting to staff how excellent and helpful they had been. It reflects how proud our students are to be members of Bushey Meads Sixth Form, that they want to recommend it to others. We are delighted that so many Year 12 and 13 student willingly gave up their time. You have all proved such excellent ambassadors for the evening and show that our reputation as an outstanding Sixth Form is deserved.

Thank all you once again.
