Grateful Thanks!

It is always such an encouragement to all staff and students to receive messages of thanks and praise for the work that we all do at Bushey Meads School.

Last week I received two such emails – one thanking the hard working and committed staff across the school and one praising the kind nature and excellent conduct of our students in the local community.

They were read out in Main School Assemblies and in our Staff Briefing meeting on Friday morning. They were very much appreciated by us all.

Email Received from a Member of the Local Community

29th June 2018

Dear Headmaster,

I just wanted to send a quick email to let you know how impressed I was with a number of your students from your school today in Moatfield Park.

They were there at about 4.00 PM and were helping my eight-year-old son (who has moderate learning difficulties) and they were just being lovely with him.

I asked them what school they attended and they told me; they engaged in conversation with myself and were extremely polite.

Best wishes

Email Received from Year 11 Parents

29th June 2018

Dear Mr Turner and Ms Ash,

Now that our daughter has left following the Leavers’ Assembly and Prom last Thursday (which was greatly enjoyed by her and her friends), we just wanted to express our thanks to all the teachers and support staff for their help in year 11.

The amount of extra revision sessions both during the lunch hours and after school were much appreciated.  Also the sessions which run during the Easter and May half term holidays and study Saturdays.  It was brought home to us how lucky she was to be able to participate in these when one of our friends said their daughter’s school were running one 3 hour session in the Easter holidays for a £30 fee!.

Everyone has worked so hard for all of the students.  Although we don’t want to single particular people out, the Science Department deserve a mention as they worked so hard to make sure that the extended curriculum was covered prior to the exams.

We truly hope that all the students, staff and the school will see the results they all deserve on Thursday 23rd August. Thank you once again!  We hope our daughter can continue her journey into 6th Form with Bushey Meads.

With kind regards

Mr and Mrs S
