Passion for Science at BMS

It is always a great experience to visit our vibrant Science Faculty at BMS. All staff within the faculty are passionate about engaging students with the fascinating scientific world around us and that passion and enthusiasm is infectious.

Last week I ended up staying in the faulty area for a whole hour and enjoyed watching 3 Year 10 scientists – Jack, Jude and Yash who were combining measured quantities of Hydrochloric Acid and Sodium Hydroxide solution. They were exploring and measuring the temperature changes that occurred and then were working out whether it was an exothermic or endothermic reaction.

Year 10 Scientists

I was very impressed with their group work ethic and dedication to the task in hand.
