Law Enrichment – Witness for the...

The Feb 1st enrichment day provided an opportunity for the law students to witness Agatha Christie’s plot unfold within the court chamber at London County Hall.  Set before the abolition of the death penalty, the drama presents the case of Leonard Vole, accused of the murder of a wealthy woman.  Although he managed to convince his lawyers of his innocence, at trial his fate depends upon the jury being convinced by his devious and dislikeable wife.  As with all Christie’s though, there is an unexpected twist that the students just didn’t see coming.
