Outstanding Sixth Form Provision

It is no surprise to know that our superb Sixth Form provision places the school in the top percentage rankings nationally for adding value to students’ performance; whether students are studying one of our exciting A level courses or more vocational subjects their final grades are always on average well above their target levels.

Pictured here are the hard working students in Ms Bowe’s Year 12 English group, experiencing a lesson which felt more like a university seminar. The focus on grappling with very clear lesson objectives and responding to powerful personalised feedback provided by the teacher really helped to move their learning on to the next level.

A small snapshot of why our Sixth Form is one of the best in the local area!
