BMS at the Rotary Problem Solving...
A great day at this years competition held at Bushey Academy Old Hall.
Bushey Meads was represented very admirably by:
Year 7: Noah, Ashwin, Haard and Rachit
Year 9: Andrei, Bhuvan, Shiraz and Dhruvit
Year 10: Ryan, Pallav, Tom and Christian
Year 12: Tyler, Thalia, Adnan and Elias
This year’s challenge was to design and make a launching device to fire an object into the air and then have a parachute automatically open and return to earth. The device had to be fired remotely making the launch that bit more difficult to control.
A great performance by all the BMS students saw our teams finish 2nd, 8th, 3rd and 5th respectively. Well done to you all for your teamwork, resilience and great attitude.
