Last Thursday, Year 7 students took part in an exciting Enrichment Day themed “Taste of the Future.” We began with a discussion on how future technology could shape a more efficient society, focusing on the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on future jobs. Students also explored the latest innovations in Tesla technology, learning how cutting edge advancements are transforming our world.
Following this introduction, students had the opportunity to create their own computer games using AI-powered tools to add dynamic, animated backgrounds and effects. This hands-on experience showed them the power of AI in coding, especially in the field of digital game creation.
The students were enthusiastic and created some outstanding games, showcasing both their creativity and newly learned skills.
