F1 in Schools Design and Technology Challenge
The F1 in Schools design and technology challenge is picking up pace as we get closer to race day in January 2020. The 2 Bushey Meads Teams entering this year are currently; designing cars using 3D CAD; designing uniforms to wear; and trying to raise money through sponsorship.
The year 8 team of Darius, Matthew, Ishaan, Alex, Trishan and Aman decided to raise extra funds to cover the costs of entry fees for the competition, so they baked and decorated cakes and held a cake sale at the end of last half term.
Well done boys for all your hard work and parents who did the shopping behind the scenes.
I am always on the lookout for new students that want to take part and especially if there are any girl engineers out there. Come and show the boys what you are made of!
